The focal point of the lodge is the spacious great room, and the main feature of the room is the stone faced fireplace. Rising 25 feet from the Australian cypress floor to the cedar planked cathedral ceiling, it is a magnet for most of our guests.
A wall of windows looks out over peaceful hills where deer and wild turkeys romp in the meadows. The front deck is perfect for long hours of bird watching or maybe just enjoying the sunset. And the couch is a favorite place for afternoon naps.
Often in the evenings guests will congregate in the great room for fellowship and conversation. It's been called the most peace-inducing room in the house.
